Three sellouts and a total festival attendance of 26,000 people are just a couple of the highlights of the 2009 season. The Festival would also like to extend thanks to all of the people, businesses and organizations that helped us in 2009.

An Appalachian Summer Festival Wins Economic Development Award
In early August 2004, An Appalachian Summer Festival was presented with the Alfred Adams Award for Economic Development by the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce, an annual award bestowed on organizations who make a substantial contribution to the economic growth and development of our region.
